Where The Review Link Comes From
When a location is connected, Reply Champion tries to save the direct review link from Google Business Profile location data. If Google does not provide it in that path, Reply Champion can use a fallback lookup to resolve the public review URL when possible.
Where To Use The Link
Use the link where customers are already interacting with your business. Google specifically points to receipts, thank-you emails, chat interactions, and printed in-store QR codes as examples of places where businesses can make review requests easier.
- Review request email campaigns.
- Manual SMS follow-up when texting fits the customer relationship.
- QR codes on signs, cards, receipts, or front-desk materials.
- Post-service thank-you messages.
- Owner or manager follow-up after a successful support resolution.
What Not To Do With The Link
Do not pair the link with incentives, discounts, contests, or language that pressures customers to leave a positive rating. Do not route unhappy customers away from Google while only sending happy customers to the public review link.
